Jake Schroeder

 

Mr. Schroeder joined Westside Property Investment Company in 2020.  His diverse real estate career has spanned more than two decades, ranging from private real estate legal practice to real estate development.  Prior to joining Westside, Mr. Schroeder practiced transactional, business and real estate law at the well-respected law firms of Berenbaum, Weinshienk & Eason and Brownstein, Hyatt & Farber.  After leaving private practice in 2003, Mr. Schroeder served in both legal and business capacities as General Counsel and Vice President for the developer of Castle Pines Village and numerous other local, regional and international residential and commercial real estate projects, as well as both in-house counsel and Chair of the Asset Management Committee for the Eastern United States for M.D.C. Holdings, Inc., the parent company of Richmond American Homes (“MDC”).  While serving as Asset Management Committee Chair for MDC, Mr. Schroeder reviewed, analyzed and approved residential projects totaling over $5 billion of company revenue.  Mr. Schroeder received his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University (Summa Cum Laude), his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver, and is a member of the Colorado bar.  Mr. Schroeder has lived in Colorado for more than 45 years and in his spare time enjoys hiking, biking, skiing and traveling.  He is happily married with two children.
