The entire site plan features 155 acres of office, retail, hospitality, entertainment, and other commercial users. Westside is currently working with the city on 55 acres on the south-eastern end of the Property into the Larry Ochs Sports Park which will include up to 8 baseball diamonds, 3 soccer fields, and an indoor sports facility, with scheduled completion in fall 2018.
When Westside purchased the Property in 2016, the movie theater was nearly 90% complete. In early 2017, Westside sold the theater to Icon Cinemas, a regional theater operator out of New Mexico, Icon plans to turn the theater into Colorado Springs’ first luxury CineBistro with reclining lounge chairs. Icon is scheduled to open in fall 2017.
Victory Ridge is a mixed-use development on 155 acres off Interquest Parkway in northern Colorado Springs. Westside purchased the Property out of bankruptcy in 2016 with 200,000 square feet of office, retail, and a movie theater in various phases of completion. High Point sits in both Denver and Aurora and is a master-planned community. It is located just south of DIA with Pena Boulevard wrapping around the North and West borders of the Property and E-470 running directly through the Eastern portion of the Property.
The Gaylord is an $820 million development which includes a 1,500-room hotel and more than 485,000 SF of exhibition, meeting rooms, pre-function and outdoor space, eight food and beverage outlets, a $25 million water park, and will house over 1,200 full time employees. The Gaylord is expected to open in late 2018.
Located in east Denver, Lowry is home to numerous office, medical, and residential tenants. Lowry has experienced significant growth in the past decade and continues to thrive.
In July 2017, Westside broke ground on a 62,000 SF medical office building in Lowry, which will be home to the Eating Recovery Center (ERC). The building will become ERC's flagship facility and will house a full commercial grade kitchen to service over 72 inpatient beds. The project is scheduled to be complete in summer 2018.
Westside owns the approximately 50 acres of land adjancent to the RTD Welby Station off 88th Ave and Welby Road in Thornton, CO. Westside successfully purchased just under 7,000 acres of land from Anheuser Busch in late 2018.
